I am on a tight tight budget from now till 19 March because I am on a mission to save just about as much money as I possibly can to buy merchandises at Sepang. And yes, I am well aware that they cost like shit but still.... It's just nice la. I want.  Because of that, I can't buy my Perhaps Love soundtrack... ='(

Ok, I'll be leaving soon so it means you are all spared from the terror of excessive F1 blogging! But I can't leave you just like that!~

Recently, (Alright fine! Not so recent then!) F1 Racing had their annual MOTY awards. I didn't agree with a lot of them but I agree with some. Like how can Renault win pit crew of the year when they keep screwing up Fisico's pit stops?? But yes, Raikkonen is so totally driver of the year but drive of the year should have been Monza not Monaco! I mean, he didn't pit correctly at Monaco! In Monza, he was so amazing! His best ever drive! And yeah, you have to include Fernando's little devillish move on Schuey and Raikkonen's outstanding last-lap thing on poor old Fisi at Japan! *hugs Fisi* In context of what was available for overtaking, Nicky should have won it with his Monaco drive. I mean, he practically pushed Fernando to the edge!

So anyway, I just thought I'll include a couple of my own things for a season's review.

Surprise driver: It's gotta be Schumacher Snr. if you're looking at it negatively. I may not like him but I admit that he's good. In terms of something nicer, I'll say Nicky did a good job until Williams conspired to kick him out for signing with BMW. DC sprung a few surprises too throguhout.  

Outstanding driver: Raikkonen! Four engine penalties converted to three podium finishes! I particularly liked the time his tyre was punctured at Malaysia too. He never gave up. Even more miraculous was his Monza drive which he should have won!!! I loved his Monza drive. It was so hebat!! *in awe*

Under-rated: DC in the beginning of the year. Fisi at the end of the year!~ Fisi did a brilliant job towards the end and no one noticed him! Awww.... *cuddles Fisi*

Over-rated: Fisi at the beginning of the year! DC at the end of the year! XD Hey, it's true! Also very over-rated was Mr. Liuzzi I think. But he never got a chance to prove himself and times when he did, he screwed up. Too much pressure, too much expectations, I think. But he's hot so who cares? =) But the kings of all over-ratedness is none other than His Royal Highness Jenson Button! What does anyone see in him?? 100 GPs, no win, no loyalty, full of talk, no results. Ok, he's hot and therefore attracts sponsors and fanatical girl followers... But, ew.

Biggest let-down: JPM! JPM! JP Montoya! Juan Pablo Montoya! How can he do this to my beloved McLaren! And I used to love him so so so so much when he was in Williams! He's ruining McLaren! *sob* Alright, so he did better towards the end but I still liked him better in Williams. He had this flair over there. An amazing likeable rebel.... who disappeared into McLaren camp and couldn't fit in. He performed so horribly in the first half of the season... JPM!!!

Forgotten driver of the year: Mark Webber. The soon-to-be Jarno Trulli in the making. The prophesized child who failed to live up to expectations. Fisico was a little bit forgotten towards the end of the season too. Let's not forget Mr. Barichello.

Best team move of 2006: I'll have to say Mr. Rosberg. Although, it's not exactly a team move, its an upgrade. But I just had to include him. You understand don't you? XD But seriously, it's gotta be Rubens. He's got a chance to prove hismelf now and he better enlighten the world as to what Jenson Button is really worth! I have high hopes for him.

Worst team move of 2006: Hands-down Felipe Massa. A bad, bad move. Schumi will be more motivated than ever after this year and he'll be over-shadowed beyond belief.

And finally the star to be of 2006: Raikkonen! Not just in terms of driving, in terms of where he will be. He will be the highlight of 2006 simply because everyone will be fighting for his services. Especially if Mr. Schumacher leaves, he will indeed be the brightest star on the paddock. Needless to say Mr. Raikkonen will be a very rich man by the end of 2006!

Oh, and who I think will win in 2006: I can tell you it's NOT going to be Mr. Alonso. Being tied elsewhere, he will have no motivation - simlar to JPM in 2004. Then his mechanics, knowing full well that he's gone by the end of the year would not focus too much on him. Write off Raikkonen at your own peril. The Iceman will be on a mission after losing the title again for the second time! And the person I truly think will win in 2006 is actually Mr Schumacher. Now, you know I don't like Mikey but he will try hard to win again in 2006. He's the mighty Schumacher and his less-than-graceful fall needs some amending before retirement. But I secretly want either Fisi or Rubens to win a couple of races and be championship contenders! *hee!*

Well I'll be supporting: Both McLarens obviously. I'll give JPM a second chance! As ever, I need to support a Finn in a McLaren. It's tradition! Raikkonen it is then! As you know, I wish Rubens will pound Button into oblivion so he's my favoured Honda driver. And even half-Finns get a palce in my heart - Go Rosberg!!! You can't have thought I would have forgotten abotu my cute cuddly Renaltiers did you? =D Fisico ranks higher than Fernando (as usual) but they both get my cuddles!

Hmmmm.... Why do I feel like I've forgotten someone...............

Gary Parfett ... is ... a .... McLaren ... test ... driver ... ? *eyes fill with tears* But, but, but, but! Wurzy!!! *SOB*

Ah, poor Wurzy. I really like him. Still McLaren are trying to prevent him from going to BMW. The fact that they still hold onto him and means that... well... I don't know... They're McLaren! They can certainly afford to keep all Parfett and Wurz and De la Rosa without their third car too! But what an excessive waste of racing talent!

But it isn't supposed to be Parfett!!! I don't like Parfett!!! I like Hamilton!!! =(

I hereby ORDER you to go read Sector 97!~ If not for the Formula One-ness of it, for the effects! It's great. Ok, it's corny as hell but I love the special effects! It's so pretty when all the blue lightning-ish thing keeps striking out of Fernando!

You know, the depiction of the character is so Alonso. I mean, it's so hilarious. Like when the ruler guy came and told him about the tresspasers and how they were gonna control the universe he was like, "And that's bad!" *whacks Nando* That's so typical Alonso!

But seriously, go read it because the effects are so cool. Maybe I'm easily satisfied but I'm so impressed. Way to go too-free people from Sony!

Oh man, this is making me feel so nostalgic. It's so great that it's fusing superhero comic book characters and Formula One together! *goes digging for my old Batman collection stashed somewhere collecting dust...*

If I'm being realistic, I know that it's more than likely but I'm going to be truly stubborn here and remain absurdly optimistic. Raikkonen is staying at McLaren!

This is so confusing! For me, Formula One has always been laconic Finns driving super fast (er, let's pretend 2004 didn't exist...) Adrian Newey designed McLarens! First, Newey goes, now there's this big question mark over the Finnish trademark of McLaren??

Unless of course, like rumour says Renault is really pulling out and young Alonso-to-be Heikki Kovalainen wil lbe driving a McLaren! Wishful thinking. What are the odds of another "out one Finn, in another" situation at McLaren?

Situation 1: Michael retires, Raikkonen goes to Ferrari, JPM stays at McLaren.

Situation 2: Michael stays!, Raikkonen goes to Ferrari replacing Massa, JPM stays at McLaren.

Situation 3: Michael retires, JPM goes to Ferrari, Raikkonen stays at McLaren.

Situation 4: Michael stays!, JPM goes to Ferrari replacing Massa, Raikkonen stays at McLaren.

Situation 5: Both Raikkonen and JPM go to Ferrari, someone else drives the second McLaren.

Situation 6: Both Raikkonen and JPM go elsewhere, someone else drives the second McLaren.

Assuming that Renault does pull out of the spot, Kovalainen seems likely to be in a McLaren or a BMW.

To tell you the truth, I like Situation 3 best because I like JPM! Just not in a McLaren. McLarens belong to people like Fernando and Raikkonen. I think JPM should get a good car (in this case, a Ferrari!) and I can start supporting him again like when he was in Williams!

You know, I always though Fernando would go to Ferrari in 07. Seriously. Just like I sincerely belived Heidfeld would as well... Oh well...

To tell you the truth, this post is stupid, pointless and an absolute waste of time because I have to wait 12 months for this to happen.

Oh, by the way, this is funny!

Yay!!!~ McLaren have finally done something I've always wanted... FERNANDO ALONSO is driving a McLaren for 2007. Now, I highly doubt he will be that good cause the future champions on the grid (Raikkonen, Kovalainen and Rosberg) would have had sufficient time to properly rise after Schumacher's demise from the grid but it's nice that I can support him fully without feeling that I've betrayed McLaren! Tak payah serba salah lagi!

Still, I have to say that Alonso's signing was a big surprise to me and to the community. The best kept secret on the paddock. I mean, no one expected it yet people have been whispering about Barichello months and months before his BAR switch. More reason why I love McLaren. They are the ultimate professionals.

Anyway, Alonso's signing could mean three things:-

(a.) There's truth in the Raikkonen to Ferrari rumour - and there had better not be or I'll cry. I won't feel bad about supporting Alonso but I'll feel bad about supporting Raikkonen instead? It's not so bad if Schumacher's not there but if he is... man. That's one step forward, two steps back! But still, I have always had faith in Raikkonen. I mean, he and McLaren are a match made in heaven. The same goes for Hakkinen. Let's just say given the choice between Montoya and Raikkonen, McLaren are going to do everything in their power to keep their star driver.

(b.) Monty as predicted is not happy with the people in the Woking camp base. Conspirist would gently remind us about Montoya's "tennis injury". After all, McLaren are well known perfectionists. They can't deal with the outspokeness of Montoya. They need a happy loyal Coulthard or more ice-people like their famous laconic Finns. No place for loud, outspoken Monty. Don't get me wrong, I like Monty. I used to support him in Williams but it's just wrong. Montoya just does not belong in McLaren the way that Hakkinen, Raikkonen and Coulthard did. It just doesn't fit.

(c.) Out one Finn, in another - Kovalainen is long rumoured to make his debut in 2007. Or maybe just someone else...

Still, imagine if McLaren keep Raikkonen! Whoopow!! Star line-up of Raikkonen + Alonso!!! McLaren really know how to entertain us. They always love getting the greatest driver combinations ever. First they have the Ice Raikkonen versus the temperamental Montoya and now, imagine the calm and mature Fernando Alonso versus the ever cool Iceman Raikkonen!

I can't wait for 2007!!!!
